Four years ago, my life was a whirlwind of constant action.

 Always on the go, always doing something. But my body started speaking to me in a language I couldn’t ignore – the language of pain.

Migraines became my unwanted companions, as persistent as they were debilitating. Try as I might to find a holistic solution, nothing seemed to work. My journey towards healing took a turn when I discovered my hormones were significantly out of balance, causing severe menstrual bleeding and worsening my lifelong anemia.

I soon realized that my habits and lifestyle had to change.

Teaming up with my naturopath, we began to address the fundamental elements of my life: sleep, nutrition, and schedule. As a vegetarian with a lack of love for food, I had unknowingly left my body almost malnourished. Despite eating healthily, I was simply not eating enough.

With these changes, my bloodwork started to improve, my hormones began to find their balance again, and sleep was less elusive. However, the migraines and menstrual bleeding persisted. This is when I decided to listen to my inner voice, my Spirit, which guided me towards a uterine ablation. It was a leap of faith, but it worked.

Just as I began to breathe a sigh of relief, another challenge presented itself. A seemingly insignificant shoulder pain grew into a debilitating condition that made my arm almost immobile. The pain was excruciating, but what terrified me more was the uncertainty—would I ever get better?

Even amidst this pain, I understood something critical: our physical health is intertwined with our emotional well-being and spiritual alignment. When one suffers, the others cannot remain untouched. Healing, I realized, had to be a holistic process, addressing not just the physical symptoms, but the emotional and spiritual dimensions as well.

As I delved deeper into this realization, my healing journey took on a new form. Now, I feel stronger and healthier than ever before, more in love with my body, and more in sync with my emotions and spirit. And while my journey has had its fair share of trials, it’s also been a path to transformation and profound self-discovery.
